Low Iron Mullite Insulation Brick refers to a heat-insulating refractory product made of bauxite with an Al2O3 content of not less than 48%.

Low Iron Mullite Insulation Brick are mainly made of bauxite clinker, combined with clay as raw materials, mixed with binders and sawdust.

Low Iron Mullite Insulation Brick for Kiln are classified under temperature between 1300ºC and 1700ºC, manufactured from high purity alumina clay by mixing, press-forming, drying, sintering and machining. Bricks contain carefully-graded organic fillers which are burned out during sintering to give a uniform controllable pore structure. This technique makes product feature low thermal conductivity and excellent heat insulation.

Production process:


Low Iron Mullite Insulation Brick includes five parts: preparation of foaming agent, preparation of foam slurry, molding, drying and firing.


(1) Preparation of foaming agent.


(2) Modulation of foam mud.


(3) Forming.


(4) Dry.


(5) Firing.
